Stars Take The 2022 BIFAN Red Carpet For Film Festival’s 1st Offline Event In 3 Years

The 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) has opened in person for the first time in three years!

On July 7, the film festival welcomed directors, actors, and producers for an exciting night of celebrations after having cancelled the event for two years in a row due to COVID-19. The event was last held offline in 2018.

Inaugurated in 1997, BIFAN focuses on South Korean and international films with a focus on low-budget and independent films. This year, 268 films from 49 countries will be featured and the festival will run until July 17. Park Byung Eun and Han Sun Hwa hosted the opening ceremony and the event had over 1,500 attendees, including actors, directors, producers, film associates, governors, members of Congress, and more.
